It's getting colder in Azerbaijan and yesterday I broke my sunglasses which I choose to see as a sign. The autumn is here and what was supposed to be a warm September turned out to be a quite delightful and cool month. After three long months of summer and constantly sunny weather it's appreciated to see something new. Although I normally love sunny days it can be too much of it in a place you don't have the chance to go to the beach. Even if I've tried, the Caspian Sea isn't too attractive to swim in. Well, now it's getting colder and the light is changing which opens up for good photos. My last five weeks in Azerbaijan will hopefully give fruit to some photos worth publishing here at Azerbaijannow.
Yesterday turned out to be a long day. Planning of English lessons, carrying out of them, a meeting that seemed to go on forever about a possible excursion this weekend and later a short meeting over Skype with my new colleagues from SE Forum. Suddenly a lot of things are going on and I haven't even had time to sit down and make a plan of what will be my thesis. The principal idea will be on aid versus social entrepreneurship in order to show the positive consequences of activating people instead of sending money. We will see what happens with this.
Today I will start planning today's and tomorrow's English lessons and later I will be off to the office. It's quite calm there at the moment since most of the activist girls from YUVA are in Macedonia for a meeting related to the anti-corruption project. I am aware of that lately it's been a lot of information on my working days. However, my aim is to give you a less subjective entry on Azerbaijan in the next few days.
